  1. Thanks for the email. I would be getting in touch with the number you have given soon. I read the link you mentioned. It says- vote. Vote for whom? No 1 is really worth it.

  2. Thats great Kiran !

About Voting : Well that is an imperfect yet most powerful instrument of democracy - which itself is an imperfect yet the most powerful political system the world has today. So I think its important for us to exercise our franchise for whoever we think best will handle our country's most pressing affairs - even though that person/party may not be the best solution overall.

Abstaining from voting is dropping the responsibility we have as citizens. Then we cannot complain if the worst types show up as our leaders.

    Best,

  4. Sri : You are entitled to your perspective. But that does not mean that everything else is nonsense. Yes the indignation that one feels right now is justified and only thoughts of revenge and anger prevail. On the face of it, the idea may seem ridiculous.

Firstly please read the post carefully. It does not say what you are bluntly saying. What it emphasizes is the role of meditation in healing minds and how people can be prevented from becoming terrorists if they see the path of meditation and peace first.

Regarding the role of meditation in preventing such incidents, if you pause to think deeply about it, its only a non-spiritual mind filled with disturbed thoughts and ideologies that can stoop so low and not even pause to think about destroying life so callously . Any violence first ferments in the mind and then
    becomes action.

And meditation is the only cure for such minds - in fact any malady of the mind.

Regarding whether breath and meditation can be effective in preventing such problems, read here :

Art Of Living techniques are taught to dangerous prisoners and terrorists lodged in Central jails in India and other countries and have had a remarkable effect on them.

In the end Peace must prevail .
